When i moved out of my brothers house into my apartment i left a lot of my things in his storage shed because my place is rather small.

I wanted a couple of things i had left there,so i go by and start digging around.It didn't take me long to realise a couple of boxes with most of my dishes and other kitchen stuff was gone.Thats not a huge deal,although why someone would steal something like that is beyond me.

What does piss me off is the lowlifes also took a painting that my late brother had done for me over thirty years ago.That painting has moved with me more times then i can count to different apartments,citys and states over the years,and now its gone.I hope the bastards enjoy it,it has no monetary value but it sure meant a lot to me.

We didn't even file a police report,it would be a waste of time.My brother lives out in the country and this happened during the week when nobody is around.You can't see any of the houses where he lives from the road,its easy to slip in and out and nobody would know you had been there.

Sorry to hear that Buggerz. That kind of shit pisses me off to no end. People who have the audacity take other people's belongings when they KNOW it's not theirs deserve every bit of what they get if they accidentally caught by said people. Hope they can at least recover your painting.

Another thing you can always do is take out an ad in the local paper and say "To the person whole stole belongings from Unit XX at the "John Doe Storage Facility", you took a painting not worth a dime, but that has serious sentimental value to me because it is from a family member that has passed. Please return it and keep the rest". You never know when someone's subconscious my kick them into doing the right thing. Worth a try.

Sorry to hear about your loss; very little is more violating than having someone rifle through and take your stuff. May karma descend upon them 1000-fold!!!!

You might want to check ebay to see if these a-holes might try to sell some of your things online. I know it's far-fetched but stranger things have happened. Krazie dog's idea is a pretty good one too.

Just wanted to say thanks everybody.Its not the first time i've had things stolen,but it was always stuff that could be replaced.That painting of course is another matter.Its really all i had in a material sense from my brother.
