I don't know if this has already been posted or not, but a duplication can't hurt.
For those of us with cell phones (pretty much means everyone) in the memory section store the name ICE (In Case of Emergency) and a number with the area code.
If you are injured and unable to talk, paramedics and police have been told to look here for a contact phone number to call on your behalf. If you have more than one (home; work; parents; your mate's cell) list them as ICE-1 and then ICE-2 ect.
This was thought up by a paramedic and has now become pretty common knowledge among emergency service personnel. Might help. Can't hurt.
