IM's and my firewall

I got 3 IM prog's, YIM, MSN, and ICQ. I hardly ever use them. Seems like every time I fire one up, my firewall starts going off like crazy with alerts.

besides...it'a a royal pain in the arse keepin' up with all that yadda yadda yadda...!!

I don't use IM anymore. In fact this is the only forum I post on and I hardly ever post here. Anyways maybe she just didn't have it in her to be mean and say not to talk to her anymore. I dont know. To each his own.

The Golden Rule: treat others as you would like to be treated. Plain and simple. I mean, if she wanted to chat in the first place, age shouldn't reeeeeally matter, just to chat. But, given the benefit of the doubt, she should have been nicer about it. You deserve at least that much, ya know? You did nothing wrong and therefore should not be treated with disrespect. But, as many others have said, the internet is a cruel, cold place- it's tough to make friends here, so I do agree with ya, dtrell, and I think that she could have been a LOT nicer about it- there's no harm in showing a little kindness every once in a while 😉
