Hell yea! 😀

I had two ops over the course of the past month. The first operation went better than expected. They only expected to remove a little less that a half of the cancer after examining where the cancer was located on my lungs. But after noting the progress they made in the op, and instead of risking a second operation, they decided to remove more than that. It turned out they removed, what seems to be, all of the Cancer in one go. It's like a Christmas Miracle! 😀
The second operation though was an emergency one where 13 hours after I had woken up from the Op I was continually coughing up blood and having major troubles breathing. Turned out there was a tear in the left lung where cancer was removed. Had to go back under the knife to fix that up.
But all in all it was a SUCCESS!!! 😀😀😀

I spent the last week or so in hospital recovering and going under continual tests and, although the doctors can't guarantee that the cancer is gone (microscopically it could still be there), they gave me the all clear to come home! 😀

And you don't know how happy I am to be back here! :')

Great news, BudBob. (WARNING: THE REST WILL SOUND TECHNICAL AND LOADED WITH MEDICAL JARGON..)

Do you know at this point whether you'll be getting adjuvant chemotherapy or radiation therapy (treatments done post-op to get any microscopic cancer cells left behind)? What's the game plan, or have they discussed it yet?

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, since that's what I do at work...
 
Ky: So far there is no game plan at the moment. I'm going into hospital every 2 weeks for an annual checkup to see how I'm getting on.
Hopefully, come January 3rd, I will get some answers and then we'll be taking it from there. 😛
