I'm here still but don't feel there is much I can contribute now

This is *not* a thread saying I am thinking of leaving the forum and I don't see that happening now or anytime in the near future , but I did want to say I am still here sometimes in the shadows as I post when I see something I want to add my opinion but lately I haven't been posting as much .

My life is in transition right now I may be posting here on and off but for those who are friends of mine or if you're wanting to correspond ,get to know me ,My PM BOx ,TMF Chatroom as well as my Instant messenger are the best alternatives to contact me .

Laurie it would be a sad day for the TMF if you would leave. I have always enjoyed reading your post. Even though I have just recently really got to talk to you. You are a real kind-hearted person and to see you in such a wreck is hard for ones ticklish soul to take. You have always helped brighten everyones day when I have seen you on the forum. HI there workinprogress, thank you for your response I won't go into all the details but briefly I have gone from being in a big city to being in a small country town surrounded by farm land , and I have had some of my possessions that were sentimental to me stolen from me so I am basically starting over from scratch and I know I can't live in the past but I am struggling to rebuild what I used to have that made me happy..

Oh God, I'm so sorry to hear about the robbery, Laurie. As for the transition from country to city life, I can relate. Both atmospheres have been important parts of my life. I hope the internet, especially with this site, helps make the transition smooth, because this way the place "where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came" is portable.

Workinprogress😀 Thank you for your response ,and for your comforting me about the robbery..I am dealing with the transition from city to country town the best I can and each atmospheres each have their own advantages,disadvantages . Yes this place where everyone knows my name and most people love my company here (I think) I can have access to living with my roommates does give me comfort and help things easier and doesn't make me feel so alone..

Laurie, your misfortune truly saddens me. I hope the troubles confronting you are resolved so you can feel happy again. We all would miss you greatly if you left. You are such a big part of TMF and the community that just not hearing from you would be catastrophic. You were the first person I met at NESTand I knew right there you were someone with a huge heart, so please my prayers are with you and I'm hoping everything in the end works out.
