I am not much of a college basketball fan, but seriously, how can you not love it this year. The Final Four does not have a single 1 or 2 seed left. I'm loving Virginia Commonwealth University. The classic underdog story come to life. Only made the Tournament after having to win a one-game elimination game against USC, and they are going to the Final Four. Butler, an 8 seed in the Tournament is in the Final Four. UConn, a team who wasn't even ranked in the top 25 at the beginning of the season, is in the Final Four. It's just amazing how many upsets have occurred this year. No matter what happens now, either an 8 or 11 seed will be playing for the National Championship!

As a Kansas fan...and it's very morbid here even in the Lawrence/KC area (and some childish, petulant chuckling next door in fizzou land)...I think the VCU story is a good one. They came from the "First Four" play-in games, in other words, they have no business being in Houston next week, but anything can happen.

Butler is for real. Second Final Four in a row for a mid-major is nothing to sneeze at.

UConn...pppfffttt!

Kentucky is nothing but NCAA history. When I used to live in Kentucky, every kid played basketball, even in their bedroom. Basketball was everywhere all year. That whole state bleeds Kentucky blue, even with a enclave or two of Louisville fans. The legendary Adolph Rupp played for the great Phog Allen in Kansas.

UCONN has a chance to repeat what they did in 2004....would lOVE to see it happen..

No DOOK this year. Thank you, Arizona.

I guess the only problem with this tournament is that it proves just how inefficient it can be to allow 68 teams to have as hot at the title. It almost makes the entire concept of a regular season ranking system pointless. I love the underdog story, but I suppose it is a bit ridiculous that a team can have a legit shot to be ranked number 1 at the end of the tournament when during the regular season they weren't ever in the top 25. Dislike the BCS system all you want, but it's far more efficient than College Basketball's. At least top ranked teams get a title shot rather an unranked team during the season getting a shot to be number 1.

Yeah, I have enjoyed the tournament this year even though I ripped up my bracket after the first day of games. There have been so many competitive games and down-to-the-wire finishes and upsets. I'd love to meet the person who had both VCU and Butler in their final fours. I will be rooting for the underdog, the winner of the VCU/Butler game. I can't stand either Calipari or Calhoun. I think they're both proven cheaters and arrogant pricks.

Seriously, if someone was a fan of VCU and just made a bracket for the hell of it with them in the final four, how much money has this person made so far if he was part of a pool? Butler isn't that much of a shocker because they were in it last year and were mis-seeded this year. Uconn isn't all that much of a shocker either because they played strong down the stretch. Kentucky surprises me and I'm totally blown away that not a single 1 or 2 seed is left. VCU.............unless you go to the college or have a family member there, you didn't didn't pick them probably past round 1 in your bracket. I'm not even sure if a lot of people had them surpassing USC in the preliminary round.

VCU is a case of a team playing with fire in their eyes. They know that nobody expects them here, and they use that as fuel to give them that extra energy and enthusiam in each game they play. In a sport like basketball, it's all about momentum. When a team like VCU is playing on all cylinders the whole game, it's tough to play them no matter how good you are. When you're ranked number one you start to feel the pressure of expectations. When you are an 11 seed you don't feel pressure because nobody gives you a chance. You play with fire and aggression all game long like you have nothing to lose.
