What Phineas said is right on. Don't tell people you're not romantically involved with unless they've been your best friend for like 15-20 years. It's not worth it.

And seriously, this "friend" of yours is not your friend. Friends don't do things like that. Like they've never tickled someone before in their lives? Whatever.

The people who find out about you and are still standing by you afterward are your real friends. Anyone else wasn't worth knowing anyways 🙂

Gotta ask though, was he actually trying to be smart in saying that 'he knows about you'? Maybe he just found out and wanted to know why it is you like tickling. It's easy for all of us to understand but to other people it will probably make little sense.

Literally it didnt matter how secretive i was, somehow it got out and to this dayi dont have a fucking clue how? I was really shy about it - some of the girls didnt seem to mind it and to some extent they even tried to encourage it by putting there feet near me and tickling each other etc.
Some of my so called mates tried to make me feel bad about it and others just never mentioned it. It really does show who your real mates are.

try not to worry mate. Confidence is the key - if you dont care, why should anyone else.

Two observations;

1), You made a mistake in telling your female friend. Why do people feel the need to dump their fetishes on people they're not romantically involved with? I don't know what any of my friends are into, and I don't need to know. Were you hoping she'd offer to let you tickle her, or were you just dying to out yourself to somebody?

2), when something like you described in the OP happens, I usually snark right back something like, "So what're you trying to say?". They'll either shut up, everyone'll laugh it off, or they'll elaborate. If they elaborate, the proper response is, "oh, I'm weird? What about some of the things you're into? Do tell, so I can make fun of them in front of everybody."

I have no tolerance for people who try to humiliate a friend in front of a crowd. If they pull that shit, the gloves come off.

I was hanging out with some friends today idk but for some reason we were talking about women etc...he said just don't talk to them about weird stuff I thought what is he saying? so he blerts out don't get them to tickle your feet, and looks right at me then he said I know about you. I turned so red and felt about 2 ft tall : ( im really really embarrased I cant help I like tickling it's just something I enjoy doing, and feeling. it's not ment for my friends to find out, but some how they did it's not just one friend its EVERYONE they all know. Why can't some ppl keep their mouths shut seriously? it's like i got singled out or something just b/c im different than them.

That was not a friend.

People would never keep their mouth shut. That is a fundamental piece of knowledge in life. You should keep your mouth shut about things you would be ashamed to admit in public. Or else those things would be used to got your ashamed in public.

Your learn a lesson. Not a nice lesson, but a lesson nonetheless.
