I'm thinking of starting a video company...

...what should I know? I've read some of the Title 18 laws, and I can get my hands on a decent digital video camcorder. Also, I'm in a college with ~12k students, so I should be able to find a couple cute 'lees. How much should I pay them for a one hour session? I'd greatly appreciate any tips from existing producers.

Your best bet is to send a "producer" a private email not that I'm aware of anything more but be weary about one thing ... not every producer will give you the advice you want. Go with your gut on what you feel is the best pay, create your own ideas and go with that. Good luck!

P.S. The reason why i state that not every producer will give you the advice you want is cause some are quite cocky as I've witnessed since I've been on here. 🙂

I don't know how profitable it is, but I think there is always room for more tickle media producers with truly ticklish talent who are tickled by experienced ticklers, in a wide variety of scenarios.....I personally think that the market is "flooded" with either marginally ticklish ladies, or outright faking ladies who happen to be models or very pretty( perhaps that sells better,it probably does with most folks) who don't mind being nude on camera, and think that if they scream loudly and thrash all over the bed when being "touched" that most people will be convinced that they are "extremely ticklish".....

that's not to say that there are NO ticklish ladies in tickle media, I have heard that statement here before, and I personally think that is an idiotic statement......but my preferences regarding the criteria for the type of ticklish ladies and scenarios that I like are so exclusive that I actually rarely see the tickle media that I prefer....for example, I dig some of the mummification tickling scenarios, among others, yet only a few tickle movie producers make these movies, only about three that I know of....hardly a "flood" of "mummy tickle media producers, in my opinion.....

so I think that any tickle movie producer that has the "truly" ticklish talent available, and someone who TRULY knows how to tickle them, would be a welcome addition to the tickle media market.....

I guess you guys make a good point, I'll go it on my own. Anyway, it wouldn't really be a threat to any major producers, just some money on the side to help me pay for books and things. Maybe I'll go for it, keep an eye out for a preview by BTP!

I assume there are producers who had an easier time than I did, but personally, it took me three years of hard, frustrating work before I got out of the red. Before that I was out several thousand dollars. As is usually the case, getting a business started, even a tickling video one, costs a lot more than one thinks at first. As time goes by you soon find that you need more equipment and services, stuff you hadn't thought of before but that you now realize are essential, and the expenses pile up. Frankly, I would have given it all up a long time ago if it weren't for the fact that I had already spent all that money and really needed to make it back.

By the way, while a few established producers do fairly well, I don't think the market is all that profitable overall. I have the agree with Jeff: it's oversaturated. New people are welcome to give it a try if they want, but they shouldn't expect easy success. It's just not the reality of the market.
