What Hari said. Get to know people first. Focus on making friends, not
finding play partners. Everything will blend together nicely, you just have
to take the time to get to know people. And don't just try to get to know
all the girls, but take an interest in the forum in general. Two of my best
male friends were both lurkers up until this past year. They just dove in
and have both been to gatherings, both involved in TMF Radio, and are
avid posters. I trust them both very much, and have been tickled by both
of them. But that's not what it's all about. The basis is our friendship. 🙂
