but since it's here, i'll take advantage of it.
i'm thankfull for the continued health and happiness of my children.
i'm thankfull for my father's continued presence.
and i too am thankfull for being an american.

I do have things to be thankful for...

1) a wife who I love and truly loves me
2) my best friend, who I've known for twenty five years...to paraphrase Gigglygirl, without him in my life during the times we were at each other's throats, I truly was lost...
3) my trusty pick up, which I've been driving for ten years, and has been ever faithful to me, through extreme heat and cold and snow and sleet and every other weather condition in these parts
4) my capacity for forgiveness, and gratitude to others who at least make the attempt to understand me
5) and one of God's greatest gifts: glorious sunny mornings.

I will be thankful when this war comes to an end, and we can focus on our own country's problems
I am thankful for my sunshine, my fiancee' for everything and for putting up with a demented, mentally insane fellow who she could have easily left but didn't, and for being a wonderful little tickle slave too
I am thankful for my dog, who finally caught and killed that bastard cat she's been chasing for 2 yrs
I am thankful for my 31(total) nieces and nephews, who makes Friday night ticklefights and movies memorable

And anyone I forgot, charge it to my head and not my heart. Peace😀

and if anyone thinks I'm sounding too sentimental, so what!! I'm thankful I have feelings😀

Well let's see

I think I have a few things to be thankful for

First and formost, I am thankful for my wife. A wonderful woman, who is truly the love of my life (if this sounds too sappy, too f@#$&g bad, I am thankful to have her) and a fantastic mother who truly is the glue that keeps the family in touch and close.

I am thankful for my children. My son is bright, intelligent, and, more important, a very polite and sensitive little boy. My daughter is the second most beautiful girl in the world (my wife comes first). She is my favorite little girl.

I am thankful that my mother is still alive after a ten year battle with cancer (she is currently in remission).

I am thankful that our family is still as close as it is (Judy is mostly responsible for that)

I am thankful that I have a good job which I still enjoy and am surrounded with people that I enjoy working with.

I am thankful to have a solid group of friends that I hope stay around for life.

I am thankful for my home. A place that really is a home as opposed to just a house.

I am thankful for my truck, which I have wanted for years and now have.

I am thankful for my dog. A source of therapy. She is part what makes my house an home.

Most of all, I am thankful to be healthy and able to enjoy my loved ones the way I do.
