injuries from tickling?

Just wondering if anyone has hurt themselves or someone else whilst being tickled/tickling. Christmas day i was fortunate enough to get into a competitive tickle fight that left me with a fractured finger and i still lost the fight!

Anyone else had similar experiences so that i don;t feel like too much of a retard for spending 2 hours in A&E!

LOL It IS a hazardous sport at times! I hope you're finger is better soon. Drew and I used to do mainly all out tickle fights. But, after him getting kicked and elbowed on several occassions, we decided that this wasn't the best way to do things. We still have tickle fights. But, when we want to get each other really good, we use simple restraints to avoid getting clobbered.

One of the many benefits I've found to this for myself is that I don't get as tired or throw my back out as easily if I'm restrained. So, we can do longer sessions. 😀

TickleMeCasey, I was injured about 2 weeks ago while doing a surprise tickle to the belly of my cousin Julie. She and I were stretching before she and I were going for a jog. Julie was laying on the ground and put her arms behind her head and pushed herself up to stretch her back. This move lifted her shirt up So I'm like 🙂 and put my index finger in her belly button and tickle away she falls to the ground laughing and I'm still tickling her belly button, she gets loose and laughingly yells "your so dead" she chased me for about 100 feet where I had fallen and tore ligaments in my left knee 🙁 Julie and I have tickled each other many times before but this was the 1st it resulted in a injury..I hope you do feel better soon 😀

Casey, ah I hope this doesnt sound a bit too severe, but one time I was discussing tickling with a letter pen pal of mine, and she told me a scenario where she was being tickled by her husband, how he was trying to hold her down and tickle her, and while he was trying to get her bare feet, she started flailing, and kicked him, shall we say, in that special sensitive spot, "South of the Border". She said he was in immense pain, and that his voice actually changed to be a bit more high pitched for a few minutes. After that, I didnt hear of any major tickle fights between those two again! I dont think that was the only time I'd heard of a girl kicking a guy there accidently, either.
I've been in the room with people where their feet have been flailing away and they almost kicked someone there, but I wasnt the tickler or didnt get kicked, thank goodness. After hearing my pen pal's story, that is still something I think about! ACK!

I was feathering her arse crack and arse hole. She bucked so hard that after 5 minutes she snapped the chair backward and landed in my lap.
I pulled a muscle!

Earlier this year when visiting Los Angeles I had the pleasure of tickling Samantha from The Dominion. Samantha is a 21 year old college student working part time there and she is in my top three of most ticklish women. Any place you touch her she will laugh. I had her lay on her back with her hands tied behind her head, and her feet were in stocks. After tickling her upperbody I traveled south, tickling her legs and eventually down to her feet. I started tickling Samantha`s soft soles with my fingers and had her laughing hysterically. After letting her rest for a minute I started sucking and nibbling her toes, and at the same time running a single finger up and down the sole of her right foot. Needless to say I was in feet tickling heaven! Being young and having slender ankles, Samantha was somehow able to wiggle her ankle just loose enough to give me a kick right in the nose! She got me pretty good, and being the sweet young lady that she is, apologized for kicking me. Afterwords, we both had a good laugh over it but I couldn`t help think of what excuse I would of had to use back home if my nose would have been broken.

I've had the occasional kick to various body parts but never a broken bone! I do have to tell you the one story I was told a few years back.

I was having dinner with a female friend and one of her female friends (who we will call Ann) who was a little bit older than us. I have absolutely no idea why the topic of tickling came up but the lady told the following story that has stayed with me since then:

She said her daughter (who I never met and, I believe, was 18 or 19 at the time and we will call Beth) was giving her a hard time over something. Ann said since it was close to Christmas she was threatening to take away some of Beth's gifts and Beth was whining about it. Ann said fine then lay down on the floor and put your arms over your head. Apparently Beth was taller and bigger than her mother, so Ann had only one way to get over on her. Ann continued the story by noting that Beth's shirt rode up enough to show her belly and Ann then Laid across Beth's legs and lightly dragged her fingers over the girl's belly! Ann said tickling Beth was the only thing she could do get get an advantage. She provided great detail on how ticklish her daughter was and how she laughed and laughed! Everytime Beth lowered her arms Ann would tell her she lost another gift. Eventually Beth couldn't take it anymore and was trying to cover up her belly. In her struggles Beth pulled a blanket off a nearby couch to cover herself with...but she didn't know there was a pencil on the blanket, which flew into HER MOUTH ADN STUCK POINT FIRST IN HER GUM!!! Ann stopped immediately and the girl was OK but that was the weirdest tickling injury I have ever heard of to this point!

I've been kicked and elbowed a couple times (little sis almost knocked me unconscious with an elbow to my face about 10 yrs ago...and that was BEFORE she became a karate blackbelt 😀

Also, going for someones feet while they are on their back is a really bad idea. You have to really coral them both to avoid a good lump...and it hurts more when they have their shoes off then when they have them on...lol

Yes... I have had my share of tk related injuries.

I was once tied spread eagle with one woman tickling my feet and another digging into my ribs and underarms at the same time. I was laughing uncontrollably and arching againas the resraints and I wrenched my back pretty good ! Even with the pain I could not stop laughing enough to utter a safe word of beg them to stop. It was onlt by chance when they decided to switch positions that I was able to tell them I was hurt. Siince then I always stretch out before a tickle session.

Nothing that much has happened to me yet... but I have a younger cousin that is extreemly ticklish. And around 5 years ago, he told me the story of when his older sister (and mum i think) held him down to try to tickle him.

He managed to dislocate his shoulder. 😱

Needless to say, for the rest of their stay with us, my sister and I made sure he was out of harms way when we decided to have a go at him
