inquiring on how to cancel my account on here

I am looking to cancel my account on here for reason I shall not go into, if anyone has any advice on how to do so please let me know.

Unfortunately tickler33 this forum utterly lacks any ability to delete your account (it also lacks any ability to delete the threads you've started). Both of which are annoying I know.

Almost every forum I've been a part of has had accounts wiped clean off the board at one point or another. Mods should be able to access those functions.

They can, but if they delete an account, it affects the forum and other members insomuch as the deleted accounts posts, threads, and responses to them get deleted as well.

We choose not to offer full account deletion as an option, for the reasons already mentioned and also because some people inevitably end up returning and asking if there's any way we can restore it for them.

If you want to delete the contents of your posts, and profile, that's an option.

But the account itself is just a number attached to a database buried inside the forum's software, and we don't offer the option to delete that piece of information.
