Interest in Opposite sex kind of question..

(A). This question has two parts. When you are looking at someone who you may think is a very potential mate for you..do you look for a certain 'look' or 'aura' in that person that might lead you to believe that he/she might be into some form of tickling or be ticklish? I personally love fun loving and playful, silly guys because more tickling is likely to happen than it would with a shy reserved guy. But then again the intellectual type tickling me the thought of it drives me insane as well. For me its not everything having a partner into tickling but its just icing on the cake. (B) do you feel that a person into some sort of tickling or another has a stereotypical "look" to them? I don't believe in stereotyping but you get what I mean right? It's things I have been pondering about everyone else.

All I can say to this is I like someone that is out going. I am a romantic so Ican say with no hesitation that fining someone that is tcklish or likes to be ticklish is not my Top priority. Like you i would be icing on the cake. Honesty and kindness are important also.

I don't know so much about a look or an aura about whether a girl I'm attracted to would be ticklish because if there is, then I'm looking at the wrong thing on some accounts. Like someone else said, if I'm attracted physically to a girl, I hope that she's ticklish and has a tickler side to her. If she doesn't, meh... always worse things in life I suppose.

I don't think I exude an aura that makes people think I'm into tickling. Occasionally, someone has tried to tickle me and given up almost immediately, as though they'd investigated and discovered that I wasn't interested.

That kind of thing leads me to believe that it's mostly my choice whom I discuss it with, and I tend to choose to reserve it for others who I think are open to it.

If you're trying to investigate a guy for disposition toward tickling, I don't think it really hurts just to ask, or at least to quasi-ask if you're worried about seeming too weird off-the-bat.

There are a lot of shy guys that aren't reserved. That's actually stereotyping from how the guy looks too, as it affects first impressions. Shyness can come from a difficulty at initiating things, a loss of confidence, getting over that first hurdle. A lot of times the intellectual guy is the shy one who can't get over it and so stupidly waits for a chance. Unfortunately that projects an image that will turn a girl away. I for one am very outgoing and playful once anyone gets to know me, I've just always had that other deal going for me. It stemmed from high school life and being a skinny bastard, and no matter how hard I tried I could never shake that. It pisses me off sometimes (at myself), as I'm a grown adult now...

Not really shy, though. And yet...I have tickling fixation.
Go figure, huh? So no, I don't really think there is a knismo-aura that can be picked up on. Same way with gaydar. I look pretty "straight", so I could easily throw off someone's gaydar from my looks alone. And there are many LGBT folks I've seen that look "straight" and also quite a few straight people who look "gay". lol 😀

B) Actually, I do. This is probably not true, but in my head I immediately associate jovial people with being more ticklish than serious ones. I guess the best example would be the most over-exaggerated. Think back to gradeschool teachers- I would much more expect the light hearted cute science teacher to be ticklish than the stern hard math or english teacher.

True from what I've seen. Usually the more fun-loving and light hearted people take a little more more kindly towards tickling or being tickled. I don't know if it determines how ticklish they might be. Some of the most miserable people I know of were 1-not affectionate and 2-hated tickling or being tickled. Affection and tickling go hand in hand I feel. I've seen the meaner girls getting more angry at their boyfriends for tickling than the light-hearted ones always happy and smiling. A more playful happy and giggly person might take it more as a cute way of flirting then look at it as annoying.

gay and straight are only 2 different things. Its harder to tell if a person has a fetish and what it is because there are thousands of fetishes. MY boyfriend when he would see me in class thought i was so innocent until he found out i liked bondage and tickling. If a guy stares at my feet in a bar or whatever, or says nice things about my pedi, I assume he likes feet... maybe tickling. I often will wiggle my toes while we are talking (If i like him) to see if he's looking, or maybe step out of my flip flop and place my foot on the floor and stretch my toes... if this produces a remark from him, then either i know he likes my feet, and maybe tickling, and he knows I like my feet admired and maybe more.
