Interesting Conversation At My New Job

Hi All,

As you may remember I was working earlier this year at a place where I introduced tickling for stress release to a friend. We began having session weekly and then all of a suden we had two others joining use.

Well, the job situation didn't work out and now I have taken a job at my sons school. I had an interesting experience today that I wanted to share with everyone. There is this one teacher who is in her early 20's and very sweet and tends to flurt a bit. I work a lot with her kids and today I was standing at her desk talking to her when all of a sudden I felt a little tickle on my leg. I looked down surprised and said something to the effect of "What the heck?" She said, "Ryan is under the desk. He likes to go there during quiet reading time. Says he can concentrate better. Again I felt a tickle and then heard a giggle. I jumped and said, "Better not do that. I'm very ticklish". He giggled and the teacher told him not to do that. She then looked at me and kind of quietly, so the class could not hear, said, "Ticklish eh? That's kida cute. A ticklish guy. You don't see that every day. I'll have to remember that" and she gave me a big grin. I leaned over and said "Are you kidding. I am about the most ticklish guy you will ever meet". She giggled and said, "We'll just have to see wont we?" I said, "I am ready whenever you are". Then she had to get back to her class.

I don't know if she was just teasing or kidding or if she was serious. I guess only time will tell. So I am hoping it come up tomorrow so I can see if it is going anywhere. I'll keep you all posted.

when I did my FEEP, I had a student from the other class tickle me in the hallway one day. She walked right up to me and said "Miss D, are you ticklish?"
"Very!, came my reply.

she poked me in the ribs, giggled and ran on down the hall.

Well it finally happened. The topic came up again today at school. I was setting in my room working on some papers (I do not have any kids on the regular basis, so the room was empty) and she came in and sat down and proceeded to tell me how bad the kids were today. So I let her vent a bit and then said, "Let me ask you a questions. Remember back in early November you foudn it interesting that I was ticklish? And remember how you said one day we will have to find out?" she replied "Yes". "well let me ask you something. Is tickling something you are into or was that just a passing comment". She looked at me a blushed and giggles a bit and said, "It's not something that I do all the time but I guess I can say I like it. My husband will tickle me from time to time and I don't fight it". So I told her all about my years of using tickling to battle stress and how I have taught it to many people. She seemed intrigued and we are talking about setting a date for her to give it a try. Her excitment was evident and I gsve her a little poke tickle on the side and she giggled. I ask her about her feet because that is what I use for the stress exercise. She said, "Oh Yeah. They are the worst". So I told her to take off a shoe for a second. SHE DID!! so I reached over and gave it a little tickle and she about went off the chair and then pulled it away. I said, "WOW! Tickling will deffinetly work for your stress levels. Lets figure out when we can do this. I can not wait to show her how good it is for stress.

I think you're wasting your talents working at a school. You should be a high-end used car salesman. Maybe Porsche or Mercedes Benz is hiring. You could probably sell freezers to Eskimos!

Thanks for the advise, but I could never do that. I don't look good in checkered and greased back hair 🙂

It came up again today. We were all having an unusually bad day at school and she stuck her head in my door and said "I am sooooo stressed today. We need to figure out how to get together". with that we talked some more about it and are going to try next week during a half day. The kids go home at 12:00 and the teachers at 1:00 so we are going to try to meet somewhere right after that. She even suggested her classroom. As she was leaving she said, "I sure hope this works cause I need to find something that does".
