Hello! It seems many people are making their "introduction" posts in the "Welcome to the TMF" channel, but the "sticky" in there instructed me to make my introduction here so -- I apologize if this is in the wrong place, I just wasn't quite sure where would be right.
First of allI've done been doing a lot of self and life reflection over the past couple of months, and I've come to a place in my life where I realize, if I don't truly and directly put the effort into finding what I really want in this life, then I'm never going to have it. Life is too short -- too short to continue worrying what other people think, too short to fear being judged, too short be held hostage by fears and doubts, and most certainly too short to harbor any regrets.
There are many things I want in this life, but out of all of them, the most important for me, is to find someone with whom I can connect with on a higher level -- a woman I connect with on a mental, emotional and spiritual level. Over there years, relationships have come and gone and I haven't been able to seem to find that person -- this has become quite disheartening to me, as I'm sure most of you have been able to relate at some point, to being wired a particular way and rarely if ever coming across anyone in the general population who is compatible with you -- it has left me feeling very "alien" in recent years, and I figure, my best bet is to join a community of my own kind and see what happens.
I am looking forward to getting to know each other, and hoping I am able to find what I am looking for on here.
