My first system was an Atari and I'm trying to find a game. The bad thing is I don't remember the name of that game. Infact when I owned it I think the title was ripped off the cartige. Anyways I'll try to describe it.
Alright your a cop and there is a rober that you are chasing around the different screens. There is at least four to five levels and you get to each level by taking a escalator. But if you go to the last level you cannot get back down. Each time you catch the guy obstacles appear in the level.
I know I'm not giving alot of information here, but this is the best I can do. I'll post this on another site, but I really want to find this game. Any information you give me will help.
