only at the end when they are cleaning, the brush hits the gums and the roof of my mouth....last time i giggled and the hygienist said "did that tickle" and i grunted yesssssss i hate when the roof of my mouth tickles..it's not a good tickle...

I agree.

The roof of the mouth is not a good tickle. Someone told me that you can use a q tip on the roof of your mouth to stop a case of hiccups. It works, but I don't like to do it.

Gee I don't know about tickling, but I do get that sensation like someone is dragging their nails across a chalkboard. Does that count?

My gums are not ticklish but the roof of my mouth is very ticklish.
Sometimes Mistress Zara puts the Whitehead dental gag on me to hold my mouth open and tickles the roof of my mouth with a Q-tip. It drives me insane.

...i hate when the roof of my mouth tickles..it's not a good tickle...

I'll second that motion. The first time I found this out, I was at the dentist and during part of his examination, he put two fingers in my mouth, and felt around (maybe a screening for mouth/gum cancers... I dunno). When his fingers hit the roof of my mouth, I actually jumped, and let out a muffled squeak and giggle.
He just laughed and said "sorry, did that tickle?"
I probably turned twelve shades of red and just said "uh-huh".
He smiled and said "that happens a lot."

Well, it was the first I had ever heard of a ticklish spot in my mouth! It was an extremely sensitive and uncomfortable tickle (as far as tickles go). I didn't like it at all.

p.s. - Milagros... I think I might get nightmares tonight after clicking on that whitehead gag link you posted!! Now THERE'S my worst nightmare! 😱 How do you stand it?!?

It's definitely tickle torture to be tied up with the Whitehead gag holding my mouth open while Mistress Zara runs a Q-tip back and forth all over the roof of my mouth. I beg for mercy in about one minute flat.😀
