Is Houston next?

Well, it looks like plans are forming for a future Houston gathering. No details as of yet, but the Texas contingency met so many nice people at NEST that his is something that we’d like to do. Not only for ourselves, but also for both those living in the southern states who have fewer options in exploring their interest and of course for those people everywhere who simply like to meet, socialize and play.

Don’t know when it will take place yet; personally I don’t think I could really do anything until 2008, but I need to connect further with the Houston organizers. The talented JCaine had a successful gathering in Houston a few years ago, I’ve done some events in Dallas which were either great successes or noble failures depending on who you consult with, and Alchemy will be a major personality in making the Houston thing a winning event as well. After this NEST especially, I think us Texans have both learned a good deal and are feeling inspired & hope-filled.

A Space City gathering also has some decide advantages over Dallas. We’ll have access to a private, equipped club; we’ll have access to a private (non-hotel) swimming pool when the TK events are not underway, and Houston in general is a more fetish-friendly town than Dallas.

We’ve had some good feedback from some of those at NEST, and I know that there are people in the Lone Star State who are wanting to be a part of something once again in this neck of the woods.

This is just a first little step, but hopefully we can pull of something that is long overdue. Watch this space for details.

I think it's nice that there are some tickle gathering parties in other parts of the country other than happening at NEST in Philadelphia, PA. I will try to think about maybe attending the tickle gathering party in Houston, TX.

Long time no hear from. I thought I would step out of the shadows for a moment to respond to your post. You know of course that I would be interested in the gathering, and I only presume who's place you mean for the private pool. I enjoyed the gathering that was in Dallas, and would be good to catch up. Though my friend from last night shall not make it, but perhaps my new one shall, will talk to her about it. Oh and if you have not figured it out, it is Mezroc, or well this does still have one of my old nicknames here.

Hello T. Knight - and everyone else!

Yes, I've been kind of in & out of the community, especially where hosting events are concerned. A change of scenery was NOT what I needed and look forward to getting back to a city that stays open on the weekends.

I'm going to be contacting the hosts here in a bit and will post updated info this weekend. It looks like it will be end of July/start of August of THIS year. Understand that poses some scheduling issues. But I'll know more soon.

And at this point, since I have started a kind of "mirror thread" in the Texas Gatherings section, I will no longer reply here, but keep it exclusive to the Houston thread in that section.

The Housont event is a sure thing! It is on. Date and location is confrimed, food and drink has been arranged. It will be held in a private home which is also equipped with all sorts of restraint devices. If my schedule goes according to plan I'll have the details posted tomorrow here:
