Sorry, maybe this question is off topic for this board, but I hope someone may clear it out for me. rnI have heard that OEM software are much cheaper than retail version and after digging over the web I have found software online store that proposed many different legal oem software. Can you suggest if this safe to purchase the discount software online? Can you share your thoughts what need I look over when start purchase? rn rnThanks!
 
Yes OEM software is perfectly legal. The catch is that you don't get any documentation and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the software manufacturer does not provide technical support. Also, at least this use to be the case with Microsoft, but they sometimes have stipulations that it needs to be purchased with a hard drive or some piece of hardware but I'm not sure. At least with newegg up here in the US, they tell you what you need to purchase in order to qualify for OEM operating systems.
 
Yes OEM software is legal. Just get it from a reputable company like Newegg.
