is pink just for girls?

i like the pale and subdued hue of most pinks. i don't have any clothes that are pink. but years ago, guys did wear pink dress shirts.

so whats the scoop - do any other of you friggin' macho dudes dig it too?

I have nothing against pink -- but I really like purple. A lot of people, mostly American people, tell me that purples girly. Strange, you American's are -- for in every country I've been in its never been considered that way. But oh well, I'm quite feminine, and I admit that (It works out, cause my girlfriends a tomboy 😀 ).

purple is my favorite color. I used to like pink but have recently gotten rid of almost everything pink in my room.... um, except the walls. but at least with all the pink gone, they're "less" pink. No, pink is not necessarily just for girls. That's a societal hangup. Psychological studies have been done on this matter. If the parent's know the baby's sex, they lean toward things that fit that sex(pink for girls, blue for boys) If they don't know baby's sex, they don't make a distinction with colors. This is another societal belief in American culture especially that puts unneeded labels on our children. Ok, I'll stop rambling now...

The only pink things ive ever owned was a pink baby blanket, a stuffed pig (piggies weeeeee lol), and this frisbee. Everything else is orange, green and blue. Guys like pink too, because *someone* didn't take out the pink fuzzy dice i hung in his rearview mirror (haha).

I like pink as it applies to psychedelic art and music, ie Pink Floyd, Frijid Pink, etc. As far as men's clothing goes, pink is definitely for those wanting to make specific statements about their sexual preference.

Purple is my favorite color. It's another good psychedelic color. I would accept purple clothes, bedroom walls, furniture. About the only things that would look bad in purple are cars and trucks, except a big purple 18-wheeler would look kind of cool.

Purple and black are my favorite colors... although I almost always wear black and blue or red and black.

I look my very best in brown and other earthy tones (I've been told).

And I think the color pink is hideous! I hate it.... It makes me want to vomit!!!!!! I dispise PINK! (except the singer... She's pretty cool. And Pink cotton candy is yummy..... BUT THAT'S IT!)
