Honestly, all of these “National <whatever> Days” are just picked and hyped by the group who benefits the most (directly or indirectly) from the one day of media coverage.

I can’t think of a larger group of like-minded tickling folks than the ones here, so if there were to be a day like this, it would need to be conceived and promoted by all of us.
