Is UTorrent free?

Does anyone know about downloading torrents. This is pretty new to me so I thought it was a good idea to pay a site "#1 movie download" to become a member but when I stated to read up on illigal pirating and the consquences. I realized that I may have been scammed by movie download which directed me to what I believe is free download software "UTorrent". Does anyone have any idea what happened?

Utorrent is a program that you use to download the torrent files off websites such as piratebay.org, torrentspy.com, torrentz.com and isohunt.com.

Basically, you download the torrent file off one of these sites and it is then put into utorrent where the file should download. It's free, it's reliable, but it's also risky.

I've downloaded a number of movies and have received letters from the film companies warning that they may sue me if I continue to download.

No pain no game.

#1 movie downloads is a scam. You're basically paying them money so you can download what you can download for free with torrents, and on top of that, you could be paying to get caught.

All torrents\p2p are free unless you subscribe to certain sites which give exclusive downloading rights

Utorrent is prob the best and easiest program to use to download torrents

I wouldn't trust anything like that it isn't worth it.
