I, for the life of me, am having some trouble understanding the difference between play and fetishism. For me, tickling is a fetish, its why i go on this site to explore this.
So if someone tries to argue that tickling is nothing sexual to me it just confuses the heck outta me. There are alot of people on this site that I wouldn't want touching me/I wouldn't go near for the record (including all guys) and if they did I would probs. cringe. I go on here in hopes that I may meet people with same mindset as me. I don't believe its a maturity thing to not want to tickle with a partner expecting nothing more then that. It may be a male thing...I don't know.
I'm very interested in fantasies that go along with tickling, being able to explore desires as a way of connecting with people. I do roleplay as I believe thats the best way of getting to know someone. I hav had people already argue that this site is just for chatting with people; I think thats rubbish but its peoples opinions. While I am here to make friends, realistically if I wanted to chat to people about my life I would be on a phone right now...maybe its because I am new and don't know that many people.
Anyways I don't post much but I thought I may want to get this rant off my chest.
You can reply but theres a very good chance it will fall to deaf ears if you disagree with me.
If anyone does want to get to know me add [email protected] (females only) or send me a message.
Cheers!

If someone says tickling isn't sexual they mean they can't imagine someone being turned on by it. Can you imagine someone being sexually aroused by religious or sacred objects? Neither can I, but that's what Hierophilia (also called Theophilia) is. I think that is a much more extreme example than tickling, but to some people I guess a tickling fetish sounds just as absurd. "Don't knock it till you try it" would be my advice to them, except I don't want a person with Hierophilia telling me that LOL

I'm not sure I get the main idea here Rossy. I want to get it, and I read it a couple times, but I really am not getting what you are trying to express. Not to be a jerk, I just want to understand.

I really don't understand the problem here either. Please clarify a little, would you?

Rossy, people are different. Some people here see tickling as a fun, bonding sort of thing among friends, and it needn't go any further than that. For some people, it's hardwired to their sexuality (I'm guessing it's that way for you), and it's hard to consider it otherwise. And there are countless shades in between, where people consider it simply sensual, non-sexual or friendly in some contexts and sexual in others.

I don't think being one way or another is a matter of maturity, but recognizing that not everyone processes things the way you do (and so, may not be interested in the same things as you, or in this interest the same way as you), is.

A lot of us get to know each other, some to the extent that our involvement here is more simply social with the tickling thing as a pleasant common adjunct.
