Very interesting. Reminds me of something else that was slightly similiar that I was introduced to through University classes.
 
Am I the only one who zoomed out to the largest point and then zoomed all the way down to the smallest, really quickly, going "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" ??
