For those that watch the show, if you saw part 1 of last night's season finale, does it seem to you like this may be the series finale too? I just got that vibe. They start off in the intro as dead at Heaven's gate, and the episode is titled "The Gang Goes to Hell." To be honest, I couldn't think of any other way to end the show than with them all dying. The beginning make me kind of think it could be the end, but then Mac coming out as gay, Dennis finally doing his "implications" move on a young girl, and them all being locked in boat jail, I'm pretty convinced this might be the last of the series. Why not go out on a high note right?
I heard the series was signed for 2 more years, but I'm strongly convinced they wanted to end it without announcing it so the expectations weren't so high on a series finale. They wanted to mirror the show after Seinfeld, but on "crack", and we all remember how Seinfeld disappointed due to the high anticipation for the final episode, so...with that being said, it would make sense to not announce the season finale as the show finale, that way people don't have a predisposed idea of how it should end, and then get disappointed.
