I was married for 7 years and suppressed my love for tickling due to my partner's distaste for it. I compromised in every way and she never tried on her end. And it's been so very healing and wonderful since then.

1. There is hope to find a spouse who shares your fetish and attractions.
2. Be patient and don't settle for less. It's worth it. It's hard for us to find compatible partners because us tickle lovers are a rare and exclusive bunch but it's worth not settling for less. Don't get discouraged!

It's of little comfort to add that this is not at all an uncommon occurrence, and something many if not most of us here have had to struggle and deal with. I assume many more have settled into less than fulfilling relationships where this aspect is concerned, and still wrestle with the urge. I say if it's intrinsic and you're hard wired, then that's just how it is. You may not feel like it right now but you are doing yourself a great service to secure a happy fulfilling future for yourself and the person who ultimately turns out to be your "the one".
