I lived in South Dakota a while and ain't that the truth there is no spring or fall

Where I'm located, yeah the snow is pretty much gone. But farther north you get, the more snow there is especially in the past week northern MN got dumped on. I hear now that the Red River is gonna rise higher than predicted because of the recent snow dumpings.

Typically, spring for me means that all the snow melts and all that's left behind are yellow lawns, barren trees and a dirty looking city.
