I've had a few folks wondering where I've been these last few weeks and worried primarily because of all the fires around California. I'm not very close to the fires but I do get that smoky smell every so often up here where I'm living now. So I'm doing great. I've been right here all the time.
So... What's been happening?
It's been a combination of bridal showers for my future daughter-in-law, Milestone birthdays for members of my family, organizing and officiating the World Superbike Races a couple weeks ago, moving to a new home and our biggest event is coming up this weekend.
My son is getting married this weekend to the lady he's been dating for a long time. Everything is ready to go and now we just need to get to the wedding location and enjoy the day.
This is such an exciting event for both our families. The kids have been going together for 6 years and they are just perfect together! I simply adore her and her family and have since I first met them about 15 years ago. Our kids getting married is the frosting on the cake! The entire family is into racing so this is truly a marriage made in RaceTrack heaven.
So... once this weekend is over, and the kids are on their honeymoon, I'll be back online more often. I still have lots of boxes to unpack at the new house and I'm looking forward to having some weekends home to settle into my new digs, finish painting and landscape the backyard.
