I learned quite a bit about Japanese fetish art from this site's pages, a few years ago, thank you for this post, it's not only incredibly "entertaining"

Bird's wing tickling tool
Nice collection - good to see some of those again. Also, nice to see Sandy Beach again - I recall him from back in the day.
The tickling tool consisting of a bird's wing on a handle is, I believe, called a "hani-boku" (sp?). It appears to be some type of tool for artists - perhaps to sweep away eraser shavings? or to dust off chalk drawings? I have one, and it was one of the best tickling tools I have. Too bad it is rather decrepit right now.
If anyone knows where to buy one of these, let us know.
