Just read that Jessica Alba is set to play "Jeannie" alongside Anthony Nelson in a remake of the TV show. Let the tickle fantasies begin...

"The Honeymooners"? "Bewitched"? Hey, why not a "I Dream of Jeannie" remake? I hear that Hilliary Duff is starring in the "I Love Lucy" movie. And Will Ferrell is gonna play Atticus Finch in the remake of "To Kill a Mockingbird".

After searching further, I discovered that Alba and the rest of the FF4 gang have signed for at least 2 sequels when doing the first FF4. This would make sense, seeing as Tobey signed for at least 3 Spiderman movies and Bale has signed for 2 or 3 Batman movies. I think the studios want faces to be recognized as the characters because it helps marketing. Also, if they put your face on every toy, lunch box and bubblegum card that you see in stores 3 months before your movie even hits the theaters, yeh, they kinda want you to stick around so they get their money's worth. But anyways..

If Jess does play Jeannie it would be fun to see her in the Jeannie outfit hehe. Heck, last I heard Alicia Silverstone practically had the part. Either of those two as Jeannie would probably get me to the movies. 🙂
