Not exactly direct but on some site called "Jolene's kitchen" it has an interview with Jo Dee Messina, with the quote in the introduction: "Watch out Tickle Me Elmo you may be losing your job"

Unfortunately it then goes on to talk about her voice, but I'm going to take it as a tickle quote anyway!

She's rather unattractive to me, yuk. I wouldn't care if she was ticklish all over.

Ooh, I'd have to disagree. I think she's pretty attractive and spunky as heck. 🙂 Some women are more beautiful in person than on camera, and I tend to think she's one of those.
