Does this guy think he is some type of super hero. This feels like the new hulkamania for a new generation. The cenation, i does this and that for the fans. These kids just eat this shit up.

i understand wwe is reverting back into the old days where wrestlers had characters. There are few wrestlers i enjoy watching like cm punk and sin cara. Last nights wrestling ppv was so boring, Of course they couldnt let r-truth win that would disappoint the whole cenation.

It's not Cena's fault. He is being who WWE wants him to be. Essentially this generation's version of Hogan, who comes back from seemingly insurmountable odds to emerge victorious. Just be thankful that wrestlers don't hold championship belts for years at a time anymore. That wouldn't fly at all, these days.

Hey, you can't fault the guy, he's making money, and Pro Wrestling is one of the toughest industries to make good money in.

WWE isn't pro wrestling , it's "sports entertainment" only problem with that title is ....they aren't entertaining anyone . Apparently their ratings are sinking each week which explains the desperate ploy to gain ratings like two three hour raws back to back *last week Stone Cold , this week power to the people* next week that Raw roulette wheel ....it just screams desperation .

actually cena is holding the belt for a year till he fights the rock at next years wrestlemania. Undertaker is going to need to die before anyone gets a push and hhh is taking over the business because shane left to do some other business venture.

oh yeah if forgot to add that i am hopeful for a hogan vs warrior match at wrestlemania. Im pretty sure tna is going to die out soon.

Rock is coming back... are you for real or b.s.ing us? I had so much respect for that guy, because he'd actually moved on and been very successful. He was really the only guy to get out of the industry with his dignity and physical well being in tact.

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!!!!!

He's not coming back for good or even as much as Bret Hart.

He challenged John Cena to a match at WrestleMania 28 the day after WrestleMania 27. He likely won't be back on WWE TV until December or January. I think I read that he officially agreed to do the match the same day that it was announced on Raw.

I'm becoming as cynical about the WWE as you but I'll definently be watching two PPV's within the next year: CM Punk's shot at John Cena next month at the 'Money In the Bank' PPV in Chicago and WrestleMania 28 to see the Rock.

Rock has been back. He was on Raw about 8 times last year, twice this year and hosted Wrestlemania 27. He has a match already booked with John Cena for Wrestlemania 28

It's not the Wrestling that I am so cynical about, as much as the people who run it. I still enjoy a good match (witch is why I still watch my older dvd's, or will pick up a Greatest Matches DVD set). But until they guys in the business are treated better, I won't be watching anything.

That makes about as much sense as anything else in Wrestling. Guy disappears for years, comes back and challenges the companies biggest star for one of it's biggest titles, but it won't happen... for another year. Yep, it's right up there with Eric Bischoff handing the World Title to Triple H on that episode of Raw some many years ago. You know if you think about it, nothing really changes in that industry. except that it gets done worse and worse.

it won't be for the title, its just like rock and hogan years ago.. its just so they can put on a great match and rock can "pass the torch" so to speak

Cena is a boring as a face, I like him better as a heel. I think Orton is going to be a bigger star. people like him no matter if he is a face or heel.

I think it will be for the title as long as Cena is still champ. It wouldn't make sense otherwise.

it is for the title they have already said it. they want it to be the biggest title match ever

I have no problem with John Cena, I actually find him quite hysterical when he's goofing on the other wrestlers......doesn't sound forced.

But I couldn't care less about "Rock vs Cena" next year. Dwayne is an established movie star now, what's the point of the one night return to enhance a now tired PPV?

they have never said it was for the title... Cena said it was going to be, because he is currently the champion

seeing as the title shots at mania go to the royal rumble winner and the other brands elimination chamber winner (and rock wont be in either) its not gonna happen

also WWE isn't that stupid, no one would believe rock could leave with the title and it would kill interest in the match.. its a match all right.. just not a title match

I don't think Cena is as big as Hogan was.... he's more kid oriented.... Orton's probably the best they've got right now.

Ratings. Rock = ratings. It sucks for everyone else because it shows that even with their hard work and dedication, it will never amount to anything.

About the Hogan thing, kids back in the day loved his schtick: Training, prayers and vitamins the same way kids of today love Hustle, loyalty and respect. I've attended house shows back in the day where Hogan got booed by most of the older crowd the same way Cena gets booed, well, maybe not to that magnitude.
