I think the singer, Joss Stone, maybe below my age group that i'd tickle, but does anybody know why she never wears shoes? If anybody knows, i'd love to know!

My guess, from Bonnaroo 2 summers ago, is that she is too drunk to figure out how to get her shoes on...

she was supposed to perform for an hour...and could only make it through 20 minutes before they yanked her because she was so tossed she was slurring her words in her own songs...what a waste of talent...get drunk AFTER the show!!! I was so annoyed...

Oooookay... I don't think I'll be able to top Camel's account of Ms. Stone's barefoot reasoning but here's my guess:

I know a lot of performers won't wear shoes or heels on stage becuz by doing that increases their chances of rolling their ankles, potentially buggering tours they may have. There are a few that do it becuz they hate wearing shoes outright and perhaps that is more along her line of thought but it is pure assumption.

Camel is pretty much right. I read elsewhere that Stone told an interviewer that she doesn't wear shoes while performing because she is afraid of losing her balance, which makes sense if she often performs while under the influence 😀

And Sole Man, as I said, when she's drunk, she can't figure out how to put on her shoes!!!
