Indeed. As a sad parenthetical note, some of the blowback and negative attention being focused on our niche by certain "PC" killjoys is one of the reasons I lost interest in writing fetish stories :|
Interesting point, MistressValerie. Although when I posted something about this topic "On the serious side: feminist in society & submissive Lee in the bedroom - not mutually exclusive" at:

I was very happy to see that many women did not feel that enjoying the role of submissive or reading erotic literature indulging in it, was in opposition to feminism. Personally, I think fantasy literature and movies enable us to indulge those parts of ourselves that we might not otherwise be willing to admit a desire to explore. While conservative cultures might dictate that such imaginations should be suppressed, I'd argue that attempting to do so would negatively affect the person's overall psychological state.
All that said....the villain archetype is simply fun, brimming over with mischief, ruthless to the core, with an ample capacity to find amusement in other's devastation and complete and utter helplessness....so much so that they delight I the tedious planning of doing exactly that and indulge fully in the action, deriving personal pleasure from their victims' frantic reactions. Replace all the pain related to the mix with tickling and we got ourselves one heck of a Ler!:lol :lol
