Our financial aid office is set up so you have to talk to the student work study people first, then if they deem it appropriate, theylet you go back and talk to one of the "real" advisors. And the students get pissy if you try to go straight to a staff member.

It sounds like not just a problem with your folks, but with a less than helpful college staff as well. What if you transferred somewhere else?

Yea, I wonder why I didn't take the scholarship to Mississippi College and run myself. Even with the scholarship, MC cost 5 times more than my current college. I want to transfer. Thanks alya ny!
