Has anyone else had this problem recently? I've made a couple of posts in various sections and I just noticed not all of the posts are being updated (to let people on the forum see there is a new post)

Yes, there is a problem. It's been going on since Friday. Note the message in "What's New" in the left side of the main page. They are working on the repair.

Thanks to TMF Admins for all their hard work!

You're right, we are have a problem. It's a database glitch that the techno-folks are working on as we speak. It will be corrected with a few days. Please bear with us folks! Happy Tickling!
