Though I love that pic, I don't know anything about the Kagome character or whatever show she's from. Is this 'forbidden tree' something in that show, or an invention for the pic?

Well, I don't think it was called the Forbidden Tree in my copy of the manga -- but I haven't seen the dub of it yet. I believe the tree is the one the main male character, Inu-Yasha, was stuck too when Kagome found him.

No it isn't called the Forbidden Tree. I watched the first episode of Inuyasha quite a few times. It's simply referred to as the tree of Inuyasha or such by Kaede.

I'm an Inuyasha fanboy and I can assure you there is no such thing in the show that's called the forbidden tree, and Inuyasha tree can't move. It's just the tree where kikyou seald Inuyasha.

as for the Kagome cherecter...She's a 15-year-old girl which accidently realesed a seald hanyou (Half demon) by the name of Inuyasha.
she is also the reincarnetion of the Miko (priestess) which seald Inuyasha (Ironic, ya know..yeah it's stupid, but the show is really nice)

Um, don't you mean Kikyo, not Miko?

A Miko is a shrine maiden, not a full priestess, but close enough. The difference is a Miko has to be a female, and has to remain a virgin till about 22. After that, they leave the service of the shrine. Priests and Priestess' on the other hand can have families and continue to run the shrine their whole lives.
