Here is an excerpt from Kandy's latest email to me....🙁

She did make it through the surgery, but she isn't doing well at all. Her vital signs are not stable, her blood sugars are go through the roof!


Doesnt sound good..time to turn up the prayers

We all love Katherine and the TMF is not the same w/out her...but we need to remain optimistic and keep the faith 🙂 I just saw a tv segment on positive energy..actually it was technically on voodoo..but you can apply it to everyone. The positive energy that we all keep will help katherine 🙂 I know she will be ok...Thank you Tracy for helping me see this...and a special thank you to Kandy for everything 🙂 Keep strong sweetie.

I just got out of the hospital yesterday and so I have not be online any until now. I see I've missed a lot.

Hi Sarlox, yes I am fine now. Just a bit weak. I had pleursy and then that ran into pneumonia. Didn't do good with the med's but hey I am fine now, thank you for asking.🙂

I ran into that problem -- pleursy a few months ago when I had a severe abdominal infection. I am glad you are ok peaches 🙂 I know that healing takes time

I read this post for the first time two days ago. I added prayers for Katherine's recovery to my daily prayers, and I'm glad to hear she's improving. I have been unable to locate the original post that explained her condition, could someone post some details on this thread? (No one in the chatroom seemed to know when I asked about her.)

Whew....that's good that she's doing better. Tell her not to get too depressed about bein in the hospital. I know it's hard being in there alone...but hey, at least you got nurses bring ya crappy food, doctors checkin up on you every few freakin seconds and not lettin ya sleep and...aw hell, considering that, tell her to get outta that hell-hole fast as possible. 😛

lol Just kidding, but tell her to do what the docs say , if it'll get her outta there sooner, but saftely. No sense in gettin out too soon if that means she'll get worse.

She'll make it though, if she just keeps fighting. And I'm sure she will. 🙂

Ew, pneumonia....nasty thing to have, even for a person who doesn't have breathin probs like me. Did you have to get one of those ..I think they call em pic lines..? you know, it's like an I.V. but pretty much the whole thing goes into your arm (and right to your heart, i think). I hope not...my sis, who's had pneumonia twice ( not for months now, though), had to get that done...said it hurt like hell.

Anyway, glad you're better as well.
