Kevin Smith kicked off plane for being "too fat"

Did they decide right off the bat to kick him off the plane or did they give him the chance to pay for two seats ? If they gave him the chance and he didnt take it then the airline had every right to boot him off the plane . Why should everyone else have a miserable flight just because he couldn't put down the fork .
 
The article didn't say anything bout his weight!?!? So what? this guy doesn't look fat to me at all... and we all have seen some fat people in our lifes... but anyways... whats the limit of weight of a human to bring on a plane?
