Has anyone else seen the latenight tv infomerical juggernaut Kevin Trudeau? Every year or so he has at least one new book coming about about some scam going on with the FDA or some other government agency where his book will expose the truth behind the conspiracy. He verbally attacks the goverment with authoratative mannerisms in order to build up a hype and grasp the attention of the viewer so that they may likely hold onto his words and buy his books. He has claimed to have cures to debt, know of hidden government funds that everyone can receive, cures of weight loss that "they" don't want you to know about, two books on natural cures that cure "virtually every disease known to man", books on memory improvement, ect...and the list could go on and on and on.
He has served jail time for larceny, stealing credit card numbers from subscribers, posing as a doctor and cashing fake checks. His infomercials don't even have consistency. If in his natural cures book he claims to follow everything he states in the book, then how did he also come out with a book about weight loss because he was so incredibly overweight at times that he clearly couldn't have been living as healthy a lifestyle as his natural cures book claimed he was?? He recently claimed that in the 1970's he was part of a secret society that learned about natural energy that deals with the good and bad forces of human beings. That's tough to believe since if he is 47 then he couldn't even have been barely a teenager in most of the 1970
s if he was born in 1963. Consumers complain regularly about his books and being scammed into purchasing tons of additional items when placing orders. People claim that they never receive the things they place orders for, or get charged more than they are supposed to and when they call the customer service line they get no feedback or help. My ex gf ordered his natural cures book 5 years back and never even received it. She called the customer service line and each time it was claimed that they order was on the way, and she made sure they had the correct address and everything, yet the book never came and she was charged more money than she was supposed to have been for the order in the first place.
Anyone else know anything about this fraud or have they had any bad experiences ordering any of the crap he puts out there? I only recently decided to post this thread because I see his infomercials all the time flipping channels and sometimes I listen in on the new ones to hear what crap he's trying to trick consumers into believing now.
