LA Munch experience

First, I want to thank Bellystrokes and Boomtown for organizing the event and the invitation. I also want to thank Stephanie Locke for opening up her home and garden to us, and for entertaining stories.

This was my first munch. In fact this was first time meeting in person anyone off this forum. I gotta tell you it is kind of surreal, meeting people you know only from their posts. Please don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it was bad in any way. In fact it was very cool. But I have to say it is kind of strange when sombody says something along the lines I remember when you posted...and all I can say is I don't remember when I posted that. But I have to say it was cool getting to know people like skilled tickler and prime time. I hope to make the next gathering and I think it is great that Belly and Boom are trying to get a scene started in LA.

By the way if anyone wants to know if Belly is ticklish, I would have to say that she is one of most ticklish people I have ever seen.

That would be cool. The only negative thing was the lack of women at the gathering, but I think boom and belly are working on that.

yeah, its a sad thing that it takes time to establish a good female crowd. THe party that I am throwing has some very good ratios though. I'm SO impressed at the MI females!

Iggy, you gorgeous thing, it was great meeting you too and I know I speak for Boom and the Mistress when I say, we are thrilled about the turn out and all the awesome people who came to munch and play and just have fun. With this core group, it is a safe bet that we are going to get bigger and better and yet retain that sweet level of intimacy. You people were the best.

what can i say? this Munch was WAY too cool!!! it was good to see my good buddy Skilled Tickler again and meet some others from the TMF. thanks to Mistress Stephanie Locke, who was wonderful host at her home and all the fun we had. i got to meet some really cool people like Boomtown, Bellystrokes, Iggy Pop and others (i forgot their screen names right now).

like Iggy said, if anyone had any doubt that Bellystrokes is ticklish, dont ever doubt again. oh, she was so much fun.....SO much fun....

after the Munch, Mistress Locke had a casual play party at her house. you havent tried anything until you tickled someone from a swing. plus, now i know that back during the Korean War, whoever made those military cots probably had no idea that the cot was going to be used in the future for some evil tickle torment. ask Bellystrokes if the cot was effective enough....hahahahahahahahahahahaha

all in all, i think everyone had a good time and i look forward to the next one......so, if you are in the LA area, you should really try to attend one of these munches. you never know what you might miss out on.

Actually I think primetime was the one that got the must "oh shits" and "motherfuckers" out of her. Actually I was very nice and only gently used a feather.

As seems to always be the case, I am a day late and a dollar short getting around to my required correspondences. Consequently, there is not much that I can add to what has already been said. The munch/play party in LA was nothing short of absolutely outstanding. It was everything I had hoped it might be and much more. This was my first munch as well, and I was a bit apprehensive; what would everyone be like, would I fit in, would everyone be raging lunatics...and the list goes on.

Not to worry. No lunatics, everyone very cool, easy to be around, and great fun. All newcomers were welcomed with wide open arms. I got to renew an old acquaintance, Primetime. It was GREAT to see you again; it had been way to long. I got to meet some exceptionally cool people; Boomtown13, Bellystrokes, Iggy Pop, the renowned Cassie, the UCLAguy, BButtonlover, and the awesome MistressStephanieLocke.

The munch and conversation was worth the trip all by itself, the play party was icing on the cake. As has been testified to previously, but it bears repeating at every opportunity, if you could make a list of the most ticklish women on the TMF, I'm sure all that were in attendance would agree that Bellystrokes would not only be on it, but be in the top two or three as well. I was honored to be labeled with a number of four letter exclamations while she was helping to demonstrate an alternate use of a Korean War era army cot. I took it as a testament to me living up to my screen name. And is that a cool swing out in the garden or what?

My most sincere thanks goes out to Boomtown and Bellystrokes for undertaking the task of promoting and organizing this event. Also to Mistress Stephanie Locke for graciously opening her home and garden to us all.

Anyone out there who is considering taking the plunge, go ahead and jump in. The water is fine.

Actually it's funny you mentioned that scenario, we came damn close last time. They had me chained to the bed and belly jumped on to start some trouble. Next thing we knew they were all over us, side by side, me tied, her unrestrained and what chaos~Let me tell ya! Remember me barely able to eek out "OMG, his NUTS are crushing my wrists! Help me, help me, help me!"

I have this idea that 20 or 30 years into the future, when tickling clubs are firmly established, there'll be some old-timers remembering the "pioneer days" when we hosted such events in our homes or rented space to host yearly events. We're living in the pioneer days of organized tickling.

Drew is correct. These are the "pioneer days of organized tickling". As someone who has watched all aspects of the community grow, from the earliest fetish balls in the 80's where 300 of us would gather (and now 3000 can be at the same event) to the earliest spanking parties (8-15 people at Eve Howard's house) and now they too have over 300 people at every event to now...the tickling community clearly began to emerge when the TMF came to life...I truly believe we are on our way and we will only grow bigger.


For those of you who think it can't happen near you...not only will it, odds are, it already is. Just keep an eye on the gatherings...and remember, people traveled from up to four hours away on Sunday...think about alternate cities to go and play in. Not just your state, and of course, aim to get to NEST!!!
