Hey! That reminds me - even though I don't tickle men, ever - how about a pledge for them? I mean, last year when I sang for my family reunion, the sound guy had birkenstocks on and he not only had nasty, crusty heels, but an obvious case of toenail fungus. So men need to take a foot care pledge too!

Foot Care Pledge for Men....

I will not, under ANY circumstances wear socks and sandals (especially if those socks are black!).

I will not wear sandals if my feet have any of the following:
Hairy Yeti toes
Yucky fungus nails
Feet so large that they make the flop sound when you walk even when you're not wearing flip-flops
Pastey pale feet that look as though they haven't seen the sun in decades
Dry calloused heels that even a sandblaster couldn't get through

I will cut my toenails so that they look neat and trim and will not let them grow long enough to cut holes in my socks.

And when I DO cut my toenails, I will not leave the clippings in the bed for my wife/partner to find when they go to sleep.

If my motto is "pedicures are for girls!" or my feeling is that all the foot care stuff on the market isn't for "real men", then I will keep my nasty, crusty feet hidden inside my sneakers where they won't scare women and children.

I will change my socks EVERYDAY regardless of any upcoming sporting events that warrant you wearing your "lucky socks" for days on end.

If my feet reek, I will not play the "smell my feet" game with my wife/partner while lying on the couch watching TV.

I will not pick at my toes, or clean out my foot cheese and sock fuzzies in the presence of house guests.
