Law & Order (t.v .series)

i just wanted to see what people thought about the television series Law & Order. i am now hooked on it and think it is a great show. all three versions are great. anybody else feel the same way?

Although Lime is entitled to her opinion, I absolutely love Law and Order. I hope it gets 13 more years on television. If it weren't for law and order, I'd have no need to watch tv.

You do know Jerry Orbach is leaving after this season? He will be missed. I hope they don't start shuffling people around like they tend to do. It looks like they're finally trying to stabilize their cast after changes every 2-3 years.

they do tend to shuffle people around, but i like the stories as well. i remember when they did a story based on Michael Jackson. that was cold blooded.....

Tron posted on this series a while ago...and we kept e-mailing after we mutually agreed how much we enjoyed watching it. Jerry Orbach is going to go onto the new series...but I forget all the details. He will have a lighter work load it seems 🙂 But I do love the way the re-use the same guest actors in different roles. If you watch re-runs, you can see the same actor/actress play a criminal or a victim...then turn around and be a defense attorney later on. Great show, great writing. Love it.

I always found that to be interesting as well. Did you know that a lot of the actors in Special Victims Unit, were on that HBO series Oz? Some of them no longer work on SVU, but if you start from the beginning of that series, you'll notice a lot of them.

Probably why I like CSI:Las Vegas, CSI:Miami and NCIS...

I must just be a cop/science fan, but I love all the Law & Orders (Lenny's wisecracks are a favorite), as well as the CSI's and Navy NCIS. It's the stories as well as the humor that get me hooked. That and the lovely gals on them that look like great ticklees!

I like both of the CSI series, but have never seen NCIS. JAG is about all of the military drama I can handle, and I barely watch a JAG episode. I just love to look at the leading man (I think his name is James Elliot). He's just incredibly handsome.

To think, that show nearly got booted off when it first got started years ago. Glad the network got its head out of the collective!

But Law and Order (all series) is the best for me!

I am an avid watcher it is on three episodes a night five days a week and then later on there are three more Special Victims Unit on.My favorite Law and Order episodes are the ones that have Angie Harmon in them,great legs and feet🙂

I've always liked Law and Order, but I especially like SVU. One of my closest friends appeared in the episode this year about the man who kept women in a dungeon. It's exciting to recognize the face staring out of the screen at you. I also love the CSI's and the reality based forensics shows on Court TV, Discovery, The Learning Channel and A&E

I like the original Law & Order, but haven't seen many of the other series (though sometimes I'll catch an episode of SVU on USA). My favorites are the episodes with Jill Hennessey, and any of the older ones.

SVU Is AWESOME!!!!!!

I like SVU and the original. I exchange email at times with desdemona about SVU.

So far as NYPD Blue I don't see why anyone would waste their time if they have access to FX and The Shield, which is by far the best show on TV.

The only two reasons I ever watched NYPD Blue were a) the acting; and b) Charlotte Ross. The second choice here I feel no need to elaborate on; it explains itself.
My wife and I can watch hours and hours of 'Law and Order' on TNT, no matter how many times we've seen each episode. SVU's fantastic. 'Criminal Intent' much less so.
