Even if I assume that the guy had no evil intentions he's still a moron for thinking he could go to the local park and ask to play with and/or touch the kids of a complete stranger and not get viewed with extreme suspicion. What did he think was going to happen in this day and age?
I've only ever made physical contact with a strangers kid once in my entire life and that was only to stop the little genius running in to the road to play with the traffic when it's mother wasn't paying attention.
