I don't have any issues myself, but it's not for lack of trying various browsers, operating systems, devices, uninstalling / reinstalling java or various updates lol

And there's loads of folk that can't get in, have never been able to, or haven't been able to in years.

But many still enjoy it.

I don't think it's wrong to believe that people who come to this very particular fetish site are here for the fetish. We come here for the fetish related material posted by other people who are of like minds. That's like saying one goes to a baseball game for the comfortable seats. I don't post much and I never chat or PM. I find that if you are letting such things upset you that occur in the "virtual world" it might be time to unplug for a bit. I believe about 2% of the $hit posted here and that doesn't matter because it's really about entertainment. People being chastised, belittled, mocked and scorned on this site has become all too common.

The “comfortable seat” analogy is like saying “It’s not wrong to believe people are in the chat room to wank, because it’s not like they’re there for the avatar selection”. People can attend baseball games to cheer fervently for their team and taunt the opposing players, while others can go just as a pleasant outing with friends.

I’d say, as this has changed from a person who has more than one layer needing to vent, to an argument over the best chat form, I’d share my two cents (no idea how old this chat is either, but re-entering from months/year’s ago, this is where I am).

As a stated female, I’m sick and tired of “do you tkl?” myself, and the related repeated inquisitions to tickle, or be tickled, by said blockheads.
First, get to know the person by what they’re actually talking about, and DO NOT PC WITHOUT PERMISSION!! Every time, if not told otherwise by the person.
If you can see they’re writing to other people in the main, write an introduction, maybe again if they seem to respond to other people again, before responding to you. Maybe they’ve honestly not noticed you, but it’s likely a subtle way of them saying they’re not interested in talking to you.
I would describe myself like Shrek: I’m like an onion, I have many layers. Get to know me, and you’ll learn more about me. But I won’t always be as open as a sacrificial lamb. If I know you, am comfortable with talking to you, I’ll be more open and honest. For me, it’s very personal, intimate, and so even coming on such a site, acknowledging this part of me is a big thing; BIG.
Now, we all are here because tickling makes us feel ...- it’s a fetish. Understand we act how we do because we feel the need for a release, as the other person may as well. But we’re more than our genitals. Go masturbate with a vibrator or sock instead if that’s all you care about.

Moving on to the chat room forum, the main reason why I have not been on here for months on end is explicitly because I could no longer get on the chat room. There’s only so many hoops I’m willing to jump through to chat, though the people l’ve met are awesome. And because they’re so great, it’s why I’m here now. But I absolutely loathe the current system and it’s inability to adapt to more current systems. Which is why I understand there’s a fund option. Is that not why all the booby ads are here? Again, time and place, that’s the reason I COME here, but it was also the reason why I was initially scared off. If TT didn’t break down, I don’t think I’d meet such great people, and am glad I got over my prudishness to come here.
I thought there was a new version of chat being tried? I followed the links and opened the chat option in the bottom right, but no one ever seems to be on it!

Okay, so I know I don’t really comment on threads very often, to nothing at all. But this particular subject has caught my eye. I can honestly say that I’ve felt personally victimized by personal PC’s without permission from many folks, mostly ones claiming to be female, announcing that they’re a ‘lee or ‘ler, mostly a switch, sometimes a female duo. Usually they start the convo with, “Hey, how’re you?. I’m So and so, 19/f/ Lee/ler/Switch/etc. You?” In the past, I used to get angry, after several weeks of someone shooting me a message, wanting to talk about “tickling” thus provoking me to write an angry comment in main. It was irrational behavior on my part. I mean, it’s okay that you’re discovering the sexual aspect of it. But you don’t have to get angry at me or someone else for closing the chat and reminding us “that’s what the chat is for”. I’m not a dummy. You don’t have to remind me 10,000 times. If someone doesn’t want to be bothered and close out the window the first time, you should take that as a hint that they don’t want their time to be wasted on “pervy creepy persistent” folks. Sometimes it’s not. Sometimes they just leave without a response. I can say that more than half the honest to good people on the forum has given up on the site, due to users “bothering” them only to get their point across. I’m not judging. But It’s usually code for, “this is a tickling fetish site, so therefore we’re entitled to act superior and talk about it and get off 24/7”. Yes, there are many users like that. However, it’s hoestly not like that for most of us who have developed friendships along the way of discovering this....”unique” part of ourselves. Just an observation on my part. Nobody’s perfect. If you want to wank, do so. But please, have respect for others who might feel uncomfortable with it. Respect the rules. One of them being, “DO NOT PC without permission”. I can see that I’m not the first person who feels this way.
 
I think at this point, we as women have to understand that… there are people who just won’t take no for an answer. It doesn’t matter how many times we repeat ourselves. Some people are just not going to conduct themselves, at the very least, in accordance with the rules. Chicago stated multiple times here that this was at least in part funny to her. And part serious. This thread really should have died by now. But 9 pages and over 6,000 views later… here we are. Why? I think a lot of people view the regulars as characters on the tickle equivalent of a soap opera.

Early on when I started posting regularly, I saw a man state that the only reason he ever came in to the chat was to watch drama unfold. He REALLY enjoyed that. Still does I’m sure. I think it could be said that the reason some guys keep doing things like this is because they know it bothers us. Not all certainly. There are wonderful people who go into the chat room. But, there’s also a segment whose sole intent is for drama. Or to make women uncomfortable. Or whatever reasons they have.

There’s a site I started going to last year. And it’s for women only. (mostly.) Sex Workers in every single part of the Industry talking about their experiences. And to help each other out with advice as per whichever job they have. (If any women would like the link, just write me at my inbox.) A lot us know already what is going on in these jobs. But OH there is so much more going on. I’m woke now, so to speak. lol

You don’t understand harassment until you’ve seen it through their eyes. (Even I didn’t. I knew a lot but… holy f!) Which has made me realize our problems are small in comparison. And so, I’ve just had to rethink how I use the chat room.

To be fair to men here. Yes I understand that this IS a sexual fetish site. And yes I do understand people ask mostly the same questions. I have multiple accounts dedicated to Tickling. So I had to stop being occasionally irritated at something that can’t really be helped. But… If this was the only issue… maybe we wouldn't be so standoffish sometimes. Or start threads like this. Like I have also. (Man...I was PISSED that day!) But this goes beyond just asking questions. We get harrassed. Repeatedly. Trolls, Catfish, and outright assholes ruin what should be a fun time. They don’t ruin it all the time. Just sometimes. And it has helped me keep my sanity by doing things that alleviate the issues.

What I have had to do is limit my time in the chat room altogether. And before I go in, I look at the names of who’s in there. If I see people who have harassed me… I don't go in. (And that’s usually if it’s multiple people who have harassed me. One or 2 I feel I can deal with. Depends on the user(s).) If I see mostly names I don’t recognize… I don’t go in. (I have no choice but to assume there are trolls or catfish sitting in there under new names.) If I see people who I KNOW are going to pm me like they have multiple times -every single time I go in there- (After 4 years of this, mind you.) I don’t go in. And when I DO go in… I don’t go in for long usually anymore. I also had to learn to ignore pm’s altogether. Sometimes i’ll answer one but if I do that… usually I can count on the pm being a ruse for any number of reasons the person may have. So I can’t do it anymore.

Boundaries are a myth for a lot of people. There are none as far as some are concerned. If they can’t be bothered to adhere to the rules here, or probably ANYWHERE in life… Idk why we keep expecting them to adhere to our boundaries. It's not going to happen. (It took me until just a couple months ago to realize this.) So unfortunately, we women, are the ones who have to adjust how we use the chat room. There really is no way around it that I can see. Except to screenshot the really nasty pm’s we receive and send them to Jeff or Myriads.
