Jeff, I'm going to try to answer your question. Most of the time my
smile is like, a panic. I wouldn't call it voluntary. For example, when
Lee and I shot this one video and I got mad because she put me in
bondage using my hair. I was so angry that I said to myself, I'll just
refuse to react. I was in the cage. I was livid. But as soon as she
started, I broke into a grin and started giggling. Pissed me off even
more. Even when I'm not pissed off, the grins and laughter just sort
of bubble out. It's never forced, at least not for me.

Well, the intimate moments Lee and I have do not involve babytalk or
most of the other activities you and Adam share. 😛 But, it doesn't
make me feel sexy or special, it makes me feel ridiculous!

When I'm being tickled, my "I'm having so much fun!" smile is different from my "Oh my God, this is torture!" smile... I think. At least they feel different to me. I'm not sure if they look different.

That's one of the things I was curious about but couldn't get at... do you feel yourself smiling and if so, does it piss you off that you're doing it?

Not pissed off, exactly. But I do find myself burying my head in the pillow if I'm face-down, or turning my head away if I'm face-up, so I do seem to be hiding something. The involuntariness of it feels... vulnerable? Embarrassing, maybe? So I tend to fight those things, even when that out-of-control feeling is what I'm really going after. 😱

That's one of the things I was curious about but couldn't get at... do you feel yourself smiling and if so, does it piss you off that you're doing it?

What goes on in your head when you feel yourself wanting to smile even though you DON'T want to smile? What motivates the smile? Is there someplace that it comes from, or does it come under the cloud of whatever is going on when you get tickled, that nobody can put into words?

Ahhh! Now I see what you're looking for...I think. I'm generally not really aware on a conscious level of what my expression is (smile or otherwise) during the process...unless the ler isn't doing a very good job. Then, I probably look bored and frustrated. Most of the time, I'm either too busy trying to keep my composure or too busy trying to let go of the control. And, I'm most always too busy going nuts.

On those occassions when I am aware and am really in the mood for it, I don't have a problem with it. It's more when I want to hold back and be a sam that it might irk me a bit if I become aware of it. Either way, it's really a non issue for me to be aware of it.

Oh, and in honor of all those smiles...

I admit I hate watching myself on video as a 'lee because that look and that subbie smile make my dominant side feel like the village idiot, we switches have issues 🙄

I know it's a long bump, but I completely relate to this. I've still not even made it through the entire preview of the shoot Bella & I did in one sitting.
