Levels on the forum

So as we all know the more that you post the higher your level goes.. In a way it seems like maybe the more hours or how many days you log on would be more appropriate to adding to your level.. maybe jumping to levels faster when you post.. Now i'm not trying to make this a competition, my mind just wonders off on ridiculous thoughts from time to time.. If it always stayed like it is, right on..

Chuck, I've always found that a good way to add to one's post count is to start making many posts, and then get your average post count per day up. The Silly Stuff or Humor Forum is a good place to do this. My first couple of years, I didnt have many posts, except for my stories. After that, when they created the Silly Stuff forum, I began posting a lot in that section, my post count shot up, and, not to brag, but I quietly found myself 11th on the list of TMF posters. Now, I have an average of 6 plus posts per day, so, every night, after midnight, before I go to bed, I post at least 7 items in the Silly Stuff forum to keep my average post count per day going up. You would be surprised just how fast it has. I'm headed toward 11,000.
Try doing some silly stuff forum posting. 10 posts a day, maybe. You'd be surprised how fast that post count will shoot up.

The whole point of tying the feather level to post numbers is to reward those who actively participate.Many people spend a lot of time logged in,but seldom if ever post anything.

On my way to posting and having fun, the strangest thing happened! I have posted with, messaged with, and chatted with some terrific folks that have become friends, certainly within the Forum and Tickling community. You would be surprised at how much you can get to know others by posting in the silly section. And, silly, suits me much better than serious at this time in my life.

i racked up an amazing number of posts back when i thought i had to respond to all those tease isabeau threads that people would start..that's how many of mine built up..it was fun for a while, but i finally quit posting on those tease threads..i don't keep track of how much i post..somedays i feel like posting more than others..and i'm a fast typist and i love to type..

Thats the same way I feel about it. And I don't care what level feather i am. It just popped in my head and was interested in what people would say.. I was just being stupid making an issue about it 😛 Just happy this site exist with all off its glory!

You are right Chuck,it matters not.Thats just the way things are set up.I have made some great friends who seldom post,and thats whats important.
