Loans

Im looking for places to get loans from, and Ive ruled out SallieMae because you need to be a student to get a loan from them, and I plan on using a co-borrower, (it was my dad , until he refused to give his SSN), so Im looking for a place that gives loans without needing a co-borrower, any suggestions?

I wish you more luck than I had. When I was trying to get loans/aid to continue with college, I was still living at home like you are. As a result, though I was paying my own way (incl. R&B) they considered me a dependant. My parents had too much for me to qualify for any kind of aid but too little to do anything to help me themselves. My formal education got cut off by a catch 22...like so many others. I learned very quickly that you need to be very well off or poor to get anywhere. Those of us in between were screwed. I simply continued my education on my own. I don't need a piece of paper to tell me anything. I just want the knowledge. Good luck!
