log in again when editing your profile?

Must we always login again when we want to go to our Profile section?
Or is it just my cruddy comp messing up??

Hmmm, it's not a problem that I have ever encountered. Let's see if we can try to figure it out.

Two questions:

1) do you surf with cookies enabled on the forum?

2) any one else experience this?

Earlier today I had to log in and render the password manually,if that is of any help.

I'll just be cruising along, logged in, voting on a poll there, posting here, then I'll go to my profile and I'll have to login in again. 🙄 🙄 🙂

Hmm, that's odd. I'm aware that editing ones profile can have some odd effects (for example if you edit your e-mail address, you sometimes get de-registered) but this is one that I've not seen, or can reproduce with my account.

At least it's not a fatal issue, only an annoying one. I'll look into some of the Vb help pages and see if anyone there has a clue.
