Log In issues

Greetings.

I'm having a problem tonight with the forum.

I logged in via the "Milagros 150,000 Posts" thread to make a congratulatory reply. Tried to preview my post and got sent back to the login screen, even though I was already 'here'.

Had the same problem responding to a PM. Typed in my reply , hit the proverbial send key and 'voila!' the damned login screen again.

Any idea on what could be causing this? 😕

Are you logging in at www.ticklingforum.com or at an address without the www? You MUST use www when logging in; if you log in without it you haven't really logged in. You may be having a cookie issue as well; but, let us eliminate this first easy possibility.

Curiouser and curiouser....

HDS - yes, I'm coming in via www.ticklingforum.com and logging in from there.

However, when I've clicked on a thread to read it, the message on the upper right hand side "Welcome, wanderingpixie2112" etc. etc., disappears and is replaced by the username/password entry boxes.

Indeed, I've just had to log back in twice: once to make a post in Silly Stuff and now this post.

I've never encountered anything like this since I first joined the TMF.

So...we've eliminated the URL problem. Any other ideas? 😕
